Promotion to commence: Monday January 18, 2010 (POS entry tickets)
First finalists draw: Wednesday January 20, 2010
Promotion to conclude: Sunday March 28, 2010
Promotion Draw Date: Sunday March 28, 2010 at 5.30pm
Promotion Duration: Ten (10) weeks
How to enter:
1. To enter the Member’s only promotion, members will receive one entry ticket for every $5 spend. Tickets are automatically generated through the POS when the member’s card is swiped at each transaction. The more the member spends at each POS – the more tickets they will have in the barrel. Members place their entry tickets into the large barrel at the display located at River Street or at Canal Road.
2. All POS outlets at both River Street and Canal Road are included in the promotion. Beverage POS, River Café, Boardwalk, Membership, Entertainment tickets, Retail outlet and Special Club events such as Degustation and Entertainment Show tickets (up to a maximum of eight (8) event tickets per member) are all included in the promotion.
3. Note: Excluding
- Gaming
- All Private Functions (e.g. Weddings, & private parties)
- External Private Functions & Events where tickets are sold at Member Services on behalf of the event organizers.
- TAB, All Club Raffles, Bingo Raffles and Keno.
4. Members Reward – Bonus tickets will be won at random via the members reward kiosk. In addition a number of “Bonus Tickets” will be allocated to be won at random on two sessions daily.
5. Entry tickets are available through the POS during Club trading hours.
6. Canal Road Bowling Club entry tickets will be transferred to River Street by the Promotion host/hostess at 5.30pm each day of the draw.
7. Barrels will close each day of the draw at 5.30pm, with the draw to take place at 5.40pm. POS’s will continue to issue tickets but members cannot place that ticket in the barrel after closing for the daily draw. That is, they can place it in the barrel at the conclusion of the daily draw. Host will count down (over the PA system) from 5.00pm to notify members of the barrel closing time for the day.
8. This barrel will be emptied after the Sunday draw each week.
9. Draws to take place at the Boardwalk Stage, River Street premises – Wednesday to Sunday commencing Wednesday January 18, 2010.
10. Eight (8) tickets will be drawn from the entry barrel at 5.40pm Wednesday to Saturday with the draw on Sunday to take place at 12.15pm. (The barrel will close at 12.00pm on Sundays)
11. A member can be drawn more than once for entry into the finalist’s barrel.
12. Eight winners will be recorded on the daily draw sheet provided. Names will be recorded on the sheet as they are drawn. The promotion Host will conduct the draws.
13. Host to contact the Bowling Club before announcing the winners. Drawn tickets are numbered one to eight on the sheets. After all eight winners are drawn the names will be announced via the PA system. The first drawn “cash” Winner will have 4 minutes to claim their prize at the conclusion of the announcement.
Daily Prize Draws
1. The first drawn ticket will win $100 CASH should they be on the premises, before 4 minutes have elapsed. If the first drawn ticket is not on the premises of either Club that member will win a $50 members Gift card plus ten additional tickets in the car promotion (i.e.: 10 x $5). All other daily winners will receive a $50 Club card plus ten additional tickets in the car promotion (i.e.: 10 x $5) should they be on the premises or not. All winners will be contacted by phone to collect and sign for their prize at the Member Services Counter - River Street.
2. Should the first drawn ticket not be on the premises of either the River Street or the Canal Road premises, the $100 CASH prize will jackpot each “draw’ day throughout the ten weeks of the promotion. Cash prizes over $2,000 will be awarded by cheque or EFT deposit.
3. Members must show membership card and ID to claim the prize, unless they have photo ID on their membership card
4. All eight winning tickets will be signed by the Promotion host/hostess before they are placed in the finalist’s barrel. Winners will be contacted and their names included on the winner’s board at the display.
5. The large entry barrel will be emptied at the conclusion of the Sunday draw each week.
6. All members Gift Cards credited throughout the promotion will expire on June 30, 2010.
Final Daily Draw & Major Prize Draw – Sunday March 28, 2010
1. The POS in each location will cease to issue promotion entry tickets at 2.00pm.
2. The Final daily draw of 8 tickets will commence at 4.30pm. Tickets will not be accepted after 4.00pm.
3. The final “Cash’ jackpot must be won, if the first drawn member is not on the premises the jackpot amount will be divided amongst the 8 winners in Club gift card value. (i.e. Jackpot stands at $2,000 – all eight members drawn will receive $250 + $50 of credit on a Gift card.
4. The major Prize Draw will commence at 5.30pm - ten (10) tickets from the Finalist’s barrel will be drawn. Each member will choose an envelope to determine which promotion case is theirs; envelopes contain numbers 1 to 10. One member’s case will contain the car image while the other 9 finalists on the premises contain a consolation cash image to the value of $500.
5. THE FINAL TEN (10) MEMBERS DRAWN FROM THE FINALISTS BARREL MUST BE ON THE PREMISES OF THE BALLINA RSL CLUB OR THE BALLINA RSL BOWLING CLUB TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN THE CAR.
6. Each member drawn who presents their current membership card may be required to verify their membership status by providing further identification (i.e.: Drivers License) if the Supervisor is uncertain of the person at the time.
7. This is a Member’s only Promotion and Club Directors and employees of the Ballina RSL Club Limited are not eligible to enter the promotion.
