THERE FOR YOU - FROM THE CHAIRMAN (WINTER EDITION 2007 CLUB LIFE)
to say that there is ‘a lot’ happening in the NSW Club Industry and on our own doorstep at the moment would be a drastic understatement … to say the least!
On behalf of our Board of Directors, I wish to acknowledge the magnificent and ongoing efforts of our entire management team and staff – our ‘Construction Crew’ – (in all departments and across both of our clubs) for rising to the occasion and facing recent industry changes with considerable success. Business as usual doesn’t happen without sound planning and lots of hard work and endurance.
It’s now a well-known fact that the Ballina RSL Club is undergoing major renovations. The Ground Floor is being totally transformed and we look forward to revealing it to you in coming months.
I would like to extend warm thanks to all of our members and visitors for the way in which you have been embracing all of our various changes throughout the course of the year. The movement of our club operations from the Ground Floor to the First Floor was Accepted in such good grace. I understand that the relocation may have caused some inconvenience, particularly to older members, and I do apologise for this. Your loyalty and tolerance is greatly appreciated.
So as the industry changes, so are we changing … and … we are doing so in ways that ensure the betterment of facilities and infrastructure for our entire community. It can be said that human beings often resist change due to being creatures of habit. Well … we’re looking forward to influencing new lifestyle habits and creating some wonderful new memories with the enjoyable experiences that we can continue to offer as a result of embracing an exciting club future! Our members and visitors will be bestowed with an immensely comfortable club – a safe place where the whole family can relax.
See you there. Our clubs are there for you. They’re for you.
– Bob Grant
