Better Usual

I must begin by acknowledging the most recent wonderful efforts and contributions from our club team. They have been engaged in making sound preparations for the upcoming renovations whilst, at the same time, displaying high levels of commitment and professionalism in the constant delivery of so many successful activities. Here’s just a sample of what they’ve been up to ...
The Christmas holidays were a hectic but fun and festive time for us in our Clubs. We received an enormous amount of compliments relating to both our cuisine and entertainment throughout the entire summer period.
Our team also worked hard to deliver a sensational 2007 Australia Day Long Weekend program full of family activities. It was fantastic to witness the Ballina community gathering together in both the club and along the banks of the Richmond to enjoy our fireworks spectacular!
The 2007 Ballina Bridal Expo was also a huge hit with both visitors and wedding
exhibitors alike. Did you hear those wedding bells sounding out across our carpark? It was a very busy Sunday in Ballina indeed!
Congratulations – once again - to our Executive Chef Gerhard Spatz and Chef de Partie Nathan Sherwood as third time finalists in the ClubsNSW 2007 Chef’s Table culinary competition. With two successive Chef’s Table wins already under their hats ... we are immensely proud of our chefs ... always.
All of the above leads me to draw the obvious conclusion that it’s not only business as usual on our patch ... but even “better business than usual”. It is this theme that will continue as we head into the first phase of our renovation program. The renovation period represents an opportunity for our dedicated team to show what we can continue to deliver to our members and community at large ... whatever the circumstances.
