With the Ballina RSL’s new ground floor officially opened by ClubsNSW Chairman Mr Peter Newell OAM and Ballina RSL Chairman Bob Grant via a special ceremony held at the club last Friday, big plans are now underway to hold a major launch party for the club’s members and the entire community!

The Big Splash! is the title of Ballina RSL’s big 3 day launch party that will run from Friday 16th November till Sunday 18th November. There’s a fabulous program - indoor & outdoor activities - planned that includes:

family fun … face painting, balloon sculpting, jugglers!
entertainment … Soul’d, The Blue Hulas, Dr Bob & Twin System!
great food and good cheer … enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner from the Ballina RSL’s new ground floor restaurants … ‘the boardwalk’ and ‘the river café’ … fill your free flashing novelty glass with good cheer … & snap up the kids meal deal!

the Beach Volleyball Community Challenge, coordinated by the Ballina RSL & the Ballina Surf Club (17 & 18 November – a huge sand court is soon to appear in RSL Memorial Park! Register your team now @ ballinarsl.com.au … help raise funds for surf rescue equipment & win great prizes!)

the amazing Rivafest fireworks, proudly presented by the Ballina RSL! Picnic along the banks of the Richmond River and marvel at the spectacular colours that light up the sky!

‘Whilst the purpose of The Big Splash! is to launch the club’s already well-received new look ground floor facilities, we wanted to put a program together that would also see the club giving something back to our members and community at large. The Club has enjoyed ongoing, unwavering support throughout this past year of renovations and upheaval … and it’s now time to truly celebrate on a large scale!’
