Songwriter, actor, comedian, guitarist, singer, ginger and wit-slinger Geraldine Quinn’s startling talents, black humour and rock stylings have put her firmly in the ascendant since 2004 .Geraldine Quinn had been acting, writing and singing for 10 years before studying at the National Theatre Drama School in 1999. In the years prior to NTDS, she played Charlotte Corday in Marat/Sade (1997), the title role in Hedda Gabler (1995 - in a production which featured Channel 9 personality Livinia Nixon on roller skates as her maid), Hesther Salomon in Equus (1995) and she earned acclaim as Mercutio in a cross-gender production of Romeo and Juliet.

Possessor of an astonishing voice, a wicked sense of humour and a keen intelligence, this queen of hardcore cabaret is a force to be reckoned with.

The Ballina RSL Club's comedy room 'The Big Gig', hosted by comedian extraordinaire Mandy Nolan, is on the last Thursday of each month featuring a comedian from the national or international comedy circuit.!

Mandy Nolan

Mandy Nolan has performed stand-up for 18 years. She has worked with such greats as Whoopi Goldberg, Ertha Kitt and Bob Downe.

Audiences adore Mandy... her humour is sharp, honest, sometimes self-deprecating, somewhat outrageous but never cruel or pretentious. Mandy's style is universally appreciated because it reflects so poignantly, the human condition and the absurdity of our world.
