Come Fly Away with Max Miller and his 11 piece All Star Swing Big Band when they present the music of Ol’ Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra, at an elegant ‘Vegas style’ candlelight dinner show at Ballina RSL on Friday, April 9.

Frank Sinatra left behind a legacy of millions of fans and music that spanned five generations. Today, his songs are as popular as ever; just ask Max Miller.

Max is widely regarded as Australia’s greatest exponent of Frank Sinatra, and sell out crowds, rave reviews and standing ovations are part and parcel of every one of his shows.

Max has the same relaxed stage presence, style, charisma and wit as the legendary crooner. His physical resemblance to Sinatra is also uncanny and Max sings with the same feeling, passion and complete artistry as the Chairman of the Board himself.

When one of the world’s greatest cabaret artists, Sammy Davis Jr, heard Max perform back in the 80’s, he was so impressed that he presented him with his own Sinatra orchestrations, including Birth of the Blues, prepared by Sammy’s own musical Director George Rhodes.

In this two hour show, Max presents a musical biography of the life of Frank Sinatra, including the Big Band arrangements of Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie and Duke Ellington. Max’s All Star Swing Big Band is led by Paul Gibbons, whose outstanding professionalism and presentation combines with Max’s brilliant voice to present a magical musical package. 

In this superb tribute, Max performs all of the Sinatra classics, including: For Once In My Life, My Way, New York, New York, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Birth of the Blues, Fly Me to the Moon, My Kind of Town, That’s Life, Strangers in the Night, Lady is a Tramp, I’ll Be Seeing You, and more.

Special guest Christina joins Max for some memorable duets and adds her own tribute to Barbara Streisand to the show.
